Starbucks Holiday Cards 2016

It is November and the holiday season is in full gear here in our beloved Philippines. We are a few weeks away from the Christmas break and the Starbucks Holiday Cards 2016 are finally available at all Starbucks Philippines stores.

Starbucks cards are awesome gift ideas for your coffeeholic loved ones. I, for one, am always happy whenever I receive a Starbucks card. It’s cute. And the load credits and star rewards are helpful for when you’re traveling. You get a cup (or cups) of coffee without spending your cash. Plus, the cards are all oh so pretty.

Starbucks Holiday Cards 2016

Every year, Starbucks releases new and fresh iterations of their legacy holiday cards: a Snowman Card and a Holiday Tree Card. And this year it is joined by a Happy Holidays Card.

This year’s Snowman and Holiday Tree Cards have a backdrop of wintery scenes in a hand-painted finish, while the Happy Holidays Card decked with mistletoes and holiday holly will be offered for the first time here in the Philippines. This year is the first time a Happy Holidays Starbucks Card is available in the Philippines.

Each of these Starbucks Holiday Cards 2016 are available starting November 2, 2016 for an initial consumable load amount of P300.

Special Edition Starbucks Holiday Cards 2016

This year, there are two Special Edition Starbucks Holiday Cards, the Red and Gold Mini Card and the 2016 Red Cup Card.

So, gorgeous. I am quite lucky coz during the Starbucks Philippines Holiday 2016 Launch, I won myself one of these beautiful Red and Gold Cards. It’s a thrill for me to have won this because I collect Starbucks cards and this one is definitely a must-have for me.

The unique thing about this card is its size. The height of the 2016 Red and Gold Starbucks Card is same as the Starbucks Mini Cards but the width is same as their regular cards. It is available from selected Starbucks Philippines stores with an initial consumable amount of P2,500 starting December 5, 2016.

2017 Starbucks Planners

It’s here. Almost. The 2017 Starbucks Planners will be available starting November 2, 2016. I thought nothing would not be able to top the 2016 Starbucks Moleskine Planners but I was so, so wrong.

These year’s designs are gorgeous and oh so tempting, even for those who are not so fond of collecting stickers to get a Starbucks planner.

Look at these beauties.

The 2017 Starbucks Planners come in two designs: Coffee Stain and Siren. Both designs are undeniably gorgeous inside and outside. The Coffee Stain Planner is more minimalist, with simple coffee-centric touches.

Meanwhile, the Siren Planner is stunning at every angle.

Embossed. Metallic. Colorful. It is an ornate work of art. The Siren Planner takes inspiration from the Starbucks logo. Since photos of it were released, the Siren 2017 Starbucks Planner has captured the hearts of many. I, for one, have fallen in love with it.

While contrasting in aesthetic, both 2017 Starbucks Planners are stunningly beautiful. Definitely, a planner that you would want to use and look at everyday.

Unboxing the 2017 Starbucks Planners

I finally got my own 2017 Starbucks Planners. And I was surprised.

(Apologies for the horizontal orientation, I did this using Facebook Live.)

Yep! I got one of each. I received a Siren 2017 Starbucks Planner and a Coffee Stain 2017 Starbucks Planner. And both are gorgeous. They are more beautiful IRL (that’s in real life) than in photos.

Starbucks Teavana Handcrafted Beverages

As a fan of all things caffeinated, I love Starbucks and their many coffee and tea drinks. I am especially excited whenever they have something new in their menu. The teasers about Teavana on social media made me so excited like a kid. After seeing the teasers, I am super happy that the Starbucks Teavana Handcrafted Beverages and Starbucks Teavana Full Leaf Tea Sachets are now available from all Starbucks Philippines stores. More important to note is that these are now part of Starbucks core menu all over China and the Asia Pacific Region.

So yey! New, better, and more tea options for us from Starbucks.

Iced Shaken Starbucks Teavana Handcrafted Beverages

It’s been a hot and not so rainy season in Davao, so I was interested in trying the Iced Shaken Starbucks Teavana Handcrafted Beverages. Plus, the fruity flavors it comes in are flavors I already love. Who doesn’t like delightfully bitter grapefruit and tarty pomegranate, after all?

My friend Mae agreed to try out one flavor while I tried another. Thanks, Mae! Note that even if we both vowed to avoid ordering Venti drinks, we both did. And we both did not regret it at all.

We both like the Starbucks Iced Shaken Black Tea with Ruby Grapefruit and Honey.

It is refreshing, sweet with just the right amount of bitterness and a hint of sour. The taste is subtle, not overwhelming at all. The tea taste is obvious but not too much. This is something that even those who are not so much into tea would appreciate. This is an iced black tea that anybody can appreciate. Starbucks should definitely have this in their menu FOREVER.

I also like the Starbucks Iced Shaken Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls.

The hibiscus tea is fragrantly delicious. However, the pomegranate pearls might be off putting for some. Mae doesn’t like chewing on stuff while drinking tea so she didn’t like this one. I did. The pomegranate pearls is a pop of nice tarty surprise which blended with the subtle hibiscus tea flavor. This is something I will order again. Writing about it actually makes me crave for it.
