I know people think I’m vain. Branding pa lang na Diyosa Life, #AlamNa, right? Well, there’s some truth to that. I do like looking good. One Diyosa skill, I am not too good at, however, is taking selfies. Ever since I started blogging (even before the rise of social media), I’ve always had people who take my photos for me. So I never really saw the need to learn how to take selfies. Secondly, I have short arms. LOL! Not to mention, my hands are shaky. So taking a selfie is quite a struggle for me. Much more difficult for me is taking wefies. The good news is I now have an Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie.
Yep, I finally got the latest “Selfie King” smartphone.
Zenfone 4 Selfie Cameras
What makes the Selfie phones unique from other Zenfone models and other smartphones, as well, is how their selfie or front-facing cameras as better or more powerful than its rear camera.
The new Zenfone 4 Selfie has Dual Selfie Cameras. The first one is a 24MP camera with Softlight LED Flash. The second front camera is an 8MP 120 degree wide-angle camera. So I get to take beautiful selfies which can be more beautiful with the Selfie Master Beautiful Technology.
And with the 120 degree wide-angle camera, better wefies with more people and a wider scenery are now possible. The selfie cameras can be set to a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The front facing camera has Softlight LED flash for better selfies even with low light. Moreover, it has a Portrait Mode and a Beauty Mode and various Filters. Plus, it is capable of taking a Selfie Panorama.
The Zenfone 4 Selfie has a 16MP PixelMaster 4.0 rear camera. Aside from the 120 degree wide-angle, it also has a 3-axis Electronic Image Stabilization for better videos. It has a Super Resolution Mode, a Pro Mode, a Beauty Mode, and a Portrait Mode. It is capable of taking Panorama shots and Time Lapse videos.
Zenfone 4 Selfie Front Camera Shots
Without further ado, here are the first set of shots that I took using my Selfie smartphone.
First off, selfies.
Note that I did not use the Beauty and Portrait Modes yet. Neither did I use any filters. All selfie shots were not post-processed except for resizing.
And here are some wefies I took with my family.
Considering I am not used to being the one to take wefies or group photos, I was able to take decent wefies. I have to practice doing it more often. Quite sure my future wefies will be way better.
I also tried to a wefie with my niece and my cousin while they were seated a few meters away from me. Just to test if it would come out ok.
I was lucky that the restaurant we ate in had good lighting. So when we transferred to an arcade, I tried taking wefies, as well.
The first one was taken at the arcade itself where the lighting was not white and bright. And the second photo was taken at the dining area with white but not too bright lighting.
More Information
All in all, I like the Front Facing Cameras of the Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie. Not only am I able to take incredible selfie photos, I can now take incredible wefies, as well.
The Asus Zenfone 4 has a lot more to offer than incredible front facing cameras but definitely, I would recommend getting one just for the cameras alone. It retails for only P13,995.
