We are going east with the Davao Bloggers Society Travel Squad this weekend and you can join us… albeit virtually. The Provincial Tourism Office of Davao Oriental invited Davao Bloggers to see, hear, feel, smell, and taste the best of Davao Oriental. I invite you to experience Davao Oriental with us. Here is our Davao Oriental Itinerary super packed with activities.

Experience Davao Oriental Itinerary Day 1

First, our journey kicks off early tomorrow morning. We leave our beloved Davao City and head to Banaybanay. Our first stop is Cafe Pintatagan. After breakfast, we will head to Mount Hamiguitan, a newly declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hoping we will see the famed pygmy forest. The next stop is another Heritage Site, Cape San Agustin.

Lastly, the day will end with dinner at our official residence for the trip, Dahican Cove at Dahican, Mati. The rest of the night will be spent exploring the City of Mati, the provincial capital.

DAY 1, Friday
3 am Departure to Davao Oriental
6 am Breakfast at Cafe Pintatagan
9 am Mount Hamiguitan UNESCO World Heritage Site
1 pm Lunch at Cape San Agustin Heritage Site
6 pm Dinner at Dahican Cove
8 pm Mati City Tour

Experience Davao Oriental Itinerary Day 2

Day 2 of our Experience Davao Oriental trip will begin with a breakfast at Dahican Cove, with the beautiful sunrise over the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop.

We will also be visiting the Sleeping Dinosaur, the Sabangan Museum, the Davao Oriental Provincial Capitol, and the Carmelite Monastery.

The rest of the day will be spent lazing on the shores of my favorite Dahican Beach and a trip to the Mati Park and Baywalk.

DAY 2, Saturday
5 am Sunrise Breakfast at Dahican Cove
8:30 am Sleeping Dinosaur Trek
9:30 am Sabangan Museum Tour
12 noon Lunch at the Provincial Capitol
1:20 pm Carmelite Monastery
2:20 pm Dahican Beaches
5 pm Mati Park and Baywalk
8 pm Dinner at Dahican Cove

Experience Davao Oriental Itinerary Day 3

The last day of our Experience Davao Oriental Tour will begin early at 3 am as the group sets to chase the sunrise at Pusan Point in Caraga. After Pusan Point, we will journey towards Banganga Sunrise Boulevard to taste local delicacies.

On the way home back to Davao City, we will be stopping by two of Davao Oriental’s most popular travel destinations. One stop is the Cateel Riverview Park in Cateel, Davao Oriental. And the last stop is the mesmering Aliwagwag Falls Eco-Park also in Cateel.

DAY 3, Sunday
3 am Departure from Dahican Cove
5 am Sunrise Breakfast at Pusan Point
9 am Baganga Sunrise Boulevard
11 am Lunch Cateel Riverview Park
2 pm Aliwagwag Falls Eco-Park
5 pm Departure for Davao City
