Tech Wishlist for Travel

Traveling somewhere north of Davao this weekend and I realised I still have a few items on my wishlist / online shopping cart that I have yet to check out. Sharing with you here my Tech Wishlist for Travel.

This is not a favorites list but a list of the items I plan to buy to make my travels easier and more convenient.

Audio Wishlist: JBL Headphones

A few weeks ago, I attended the JBL Davao Roadshow Press Conference and I immediately fell in love with this.

I currently own and use a JBL Clip and a JBL Go. Both have lived up to my expectations for high quality audio on the go. I was initially attracted to the JBL Tune 600BT NC because of the pretty pink color. My photos do not quite capture how pretty the color is.

Aside from the pretty pink color, the Tune 600BT NC boats of the JBL Pure Bass Sound technology and Active Noise Cancelling. It also has wireless bluetooth technology and can run on 12 hours of battery life. You can also use the optional wire for continuous listening even when the headphones are running low on battery. The Tune 600BT NC can also be used this for hands-free calls.

It is lightweight, compact, and flat-folding. Hence, perfect for travel. It also comes in black, blue, and white.

Get your JBL Tune600 BT NC via the JBL Official Store in Lazada at this link.

Tech Wishlist Item for Vlogging: Lacie HD

For people who vlog or take too many photos, one must-have when traveling is a dependable external hard drive.

Here’s another item I got to know during an event, the Lacie Rugged External Hard Drive. Lacie is one of the brands of Seagate, a known brand of hard drives.

What makes the Lacie special is it’s designed for travel. It has an embedded SD Card Reader. It has Rugged SECURE which protects data from unauthorised access. Plus, it is resistant to rain, drop, and crush. This will definitely be perfect for transferring and storing my photos and videos while traveling.

Get your Lacie from the Seagate Lazada Store at this link.

Tech Wishlist: Mi Band for Fitness & Health

When traveling, we tend to walk more. A bit of a horror for me, but that’s the way it is. After all, what is the point of going somewhere without exploring even just a bit?

Tech Wishlist: Mi Band 4 Fitness Band
Mi Band 4

You might not think this is not a necessity in your Tech Wishlist for Travel but it is. A fitness band will easily track your number of steps and can also help you keep up with your workout regimen even when you are away from home. Plus, the Mi Band can monitor and record your heart rate and your sleep.

I currently have the Mi Band 3 but the Mi Band 4 promises to be so much better. It has a LED color screen, supports multiple personalized dials, and has a 39.9% larger display. The Mi Band 4 has higher battery capacity at 135 mAh. Finally, it can now set alarms and reminders and can record 6 sports activities including free training.

I recommend and want the Mi Band because it is affordable and easy to use. Get one via the Xiaomi Online Store on Lazada at this link.

Power Banks

I travel with at least 2 smartphones: 1 iPhone and 1 Android phone, currently a Samsung A20. It is important for my work that I am online at all times so yes, the batteries of my smartphones get easily drained. So I also bring at least 2 powerbanks when traveling.

Aside from my handy Asus power banks, I also bring along a Romoss Sense 8 20,000 mAh power bank. But now I want this: the Romoss Sense 8 Plus 3 30,000 mAh Power Bank. So power up my 2 smartphones for at least a day. And to power up the smartphones of my friends, as well. Yes, I am that friend who brings everything and packs extra just in case somebody else needs it. Buy it only from the Romoss Official Flagship Store in Lazada at this link.

And what’s even better than a power bank is a two-in-one power bank and wall charger.

I have been meaning to buy an Anker PowerCore Fusion. It is a wall charger that may be also used as a power bank with a 5,000 mAh charge. Unfortunately, this always out of stock at the Anker Flagship Store. But I found a reliable Lazada merchant TechSmart that sells the PowerCore Fusion in black and in red. I want a red one. Added one to cart already.

Tech Wishlist Priority: Power Strip

Do not hate me yet. The next one on the list is another power supply item.

Aside from my two smartphones (plus a minimum of 2 power banks), I often bring along several gadgets: my Canon EOS M50 and a laptop. Plus, a hair dryer and sometimes even a hair curler or iron.

I offer no apologies for being an over packer. But it can be inconvenient especially when there is just one or two outlets in my accommodations so aside from everything I already listed, I also bring along a power strip.

Bavin 5.4A 6 USB Port Slot Universal Charger HUB with 3 Power Sockets

I have been eyeing this Bavin power strip with 6 USB port slots and 3 power sockets. 2 usb ports for my 2 smartphones and 2 usb ports for my power banks. One USB port for my charging my JBL headphones or my JBL Go Speaker. And the last USB port for charging my fitness band. Plus, one socket each for my camera battery charger, my laptop, and for my hair dryer or iron. Convenient, right? Add to cart via the Bavin Store on Lazada at this link.
