So yes, I recently ordered from blk Cosmetics. Twice, actually. And I did an unboxing of the products I got. Sharing here my blk Unboxing video. And first impressions of the products I got.

Multitasking Color Sticks

I got 3 blk Cosmetics Multitasking Color Sticks.

The first is the Priming + Mattifying Stick. I have tried using it all over my face and on my lids. Dewy looks are what I am into nowadays. So I have decided against routinely using it all over my face. I have only used it on my lids twice. And it was able to keep my eye makeup in place for a few hours. Both times, I used a combination of cream and liquid eye shadow. Maybe next time I should try using it with powder eye shadow to see how well it holds the shadow. Get it at this link.

The Margarita is more subtle than the liquid tints I use. But it works well for my cheeks, lids, and lips. It gives off a nice colored sheen to the areas I apply it to. And needs only a little product to have a noticeable tinge of color. The color is just pink enough to suit any makeup look. This will probably be a great base for any shade of powder blush. Like the 2 other color sticks I got, this blends easily. Buy the Margarita at this link.

Highly Recommended: Champagne

Finally, my favorite is the Champagne.

Because, of course. It is an all purpose highlighter that I use on my undereye area, the apple of my cheeks, and all other areas I want to highlight. Among the three, this is the one I highly recommend. The shimmer is subtle but buildable. Just apply more product for a greater shimmer. Make sure to blend well. If you want to try highlighters but do not have one yet or not too confident about choosing one product, this could be a great all-in-one highlighter for you.

Tints and Paints

In this package, I got 3 liquid tints and paints.

The first one is the Airy Matte Tint in Maple. This is part of both the Universal Collection and the Daydream Collection. I plan to do a separate feature on this product. What I can share right now is how light and airy it does feel. And the color pay off is really good. Interested? Buy the Maple Air Tint at this link.

I also got the K Beauty Creamy All Over Paint in Peony.

It is such a beautiful shade of pink. I love how creamy it is. The color looks so intense but it is actually not that intense when applied. I do not know if that is good or bad for you. For me, it is a good thing, though. Again, more about this soon. You can buy the Peony via this link.

And I got a freebie! For my first blk Cosmetics package, I got a K Beauty Creamy Cheek Paint in Peach. This is a nice shade of peach that suits the peachy makeup looks that I have grown to love. The Peach is currently out of stock, though.

Intense Color Liquid Eyeshadow

Also from the K Beauty line, I got the Intense Color Liquid Eyeshadow in Jasmine. Like the Peony, this is also a nice shade of pink. But this one is more sheer and has more shimmer. It looks great on the lids for a subtle color. And one the cheeks and lips for some shimmer. It is an eyeshadow, but yes, I used it one my cheeks and lips, as well.

Among all blk Cosmetics I have unboxed and tried, the Intense Color Liquid Eyeshadow remains to be on top of the list. I love how easy is it to use. Even if sheer, the effect is intense and lasts a long time. Plus, it is easy to blend. And versatile enough to be used on other parts of the face.

Brow Mascaras

Last for this blk Cosmetics Unboxing session are the 3 brow products. Of the three, I can only share about the Brow Mascara in Natural Brown.

I have been using the blk Cosmetics Brow Mascara in Taupe and I am a big fan of it. It is one of my highly recommended makeup products for makeup newbies. It is easy to apply. And the Taupe shade is perfect for any skin tone or hair color. The Natural Brown is a bit lighter. I am not quite sure if it would suit most people like Taupe. But personally, it suits my skintone and hair color. Between the two, the Taupe seems to be the more versatile shade.

I have not opened nor tried the two Brow Stick: Pencil x Mascara products. I will get back to you on that.
