We are almost midway through 2022. It is time for me to stock up on personal care essentials. And I am looking forward to the mid-year sale offers and deals that will be available soon.

Why I Stock Up on Personal Care Essentials

As I have mentioned previously, I prioritize bulk buying essentials during sale events. This way, I am able to save money on items I need to buy anyway. Plus, I have less to think about the following months. To be honest, my shampoo now is still from the stocks I bought during the May 2021 sale. Imagine how much I saved. And how I did not have to include that in my grocery or shopping list.

It just comes out more economical. And also more convenient in the long run. So I also have extra money to spend on other things.

Personal Care Essentials

My personal care essentials might not be same for you. But here are what I consider as my personal care essentials:

• Facial Skincare: Cleanser, Toner, and Moisturizer or Serum, Sun Protection, Lip Balm, and Makeup Remover
• Body Care: Body Soap or Wash, Handwash, Alcohol, Baby Powder, Cologne
• Hair Care: Shampoo, Conditioner
• Oral Care: Toothpaste, Mouthwash

There are basically what I use daily. Some multiple times a day. A few, like the conditioner, I use only a few times each week.

Skincare

Here are some of my recommended personal care products.

You probably know this by now. I have oily skin. But during the colder months, I have combination skin. And when my allergies act up, it becomes sensitive. So I do keep and have several types of skincare regimens depending on my skin’s condition.

I have skincare products for oily skin. A few for anti-acne and anti-aging. But those I always love to have extras of and even prefer to bring on trips are gentle products. These are usually water-based, do not have perfume, and contain less ingredients.

One of the products I currently keep and use is the Neutrogena Deep Clean Brightening Cleansing Oil to Foam. To be honest, this is not a product I use daily but I love this product because it effectively removes makeup and cleanses the face. So I have this in my skincare arsenal for days when I do have makeup on. So I do consider this essential.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost

One line of products that have piqued my interest is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost. I bought several of the Water Gel last year and gave it away to my friends and relatives during the holidays. All of them loved it. It is a light and cooling water-based moisturizer.

Body Care

Who else grew up with Johnsons & Johnsons Baby Products? From the No Tears Shampoo in the iconic yellow bottle down to Johnsons Baby Oil, I practically grew up with these products. So even as an adult, I find Johnsons products comforting.

Currently, I have Johnsons Powder and Johnsons Baby Cologne in my side table. I sweat easily and I find these two products to help me smell and feel better throughout the day. And I always put on Baby Powder before going to sleep. It is just something I have gotten used to since I was very young.
